PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is a multinational network of firms operating in 156 countries under the PwC brand as partnerships offering professional services. PwC is seen to be part of the Big Four accounting firms (as well as EY, KPMG and Deloitte) and is the second-largest professional services network in the world. The company was founded in 1998 as a merger between two accounting firms (Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand) each with over 160 years of history. Recently, the company announced plans to invest $12 billion in cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence (AI) by 2026, adding to their existing cybersecurity portfolio. The company was named a Leader in the 2021 European Cybersecurity Consulting Providers by Forrester Wave.
